The NGF Chairman, Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq, has pledged to work with the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) and NEMA to mitigate the effects of climate change and support affected communities.
NEMA has provided relief materials, including food and non-food items, to support the victims. The agency is working with the Red Cross and Niger State Emergency Management Agency (NSEMA) to coordinate search and rescue operations. The state government has also received relief materials from NEMA, which will be distributed to the victims.
