WOMEN'S WORTH: "Former BBNaija Star Doyin David Tells Men To Stop Sexualizing Women At First Sight, Value Their Humanity

Doyin David, a former Big Brother Naija housemate, has spoken out against the tendency of some men to immediately sexualize women upon meeting them. She emphasized that many men focus solely on physical attraction instead of getting to know women as individuals. During a recent appearance on the dating-focused talk show ‘Thanks For Coming’, hosted by Grand Prince Ita, Doyin stressed that while sex is important, she is a complete person beyond her physicality.

Doyin explained that most men easily sexualize women without taking the time to know them as people. "Most times when a guy meets a girl, it’s very easy for them to sexualize her. What’s sex going to look like with this person, without getting to know the person? Sex is important to me, but I’m a whole human being outside of my vagina," she said.

She also discussed the challenges of dating in Nigeria, describing it as highly stressful for both genders. "It’s been a minute, to be honest. A couple of months ago. Dating in Nigeria these days is an extreme sport. It’s hectic," Doyin said. Despite these challenges, Doyin remains open to emotional vulnerability and submission but only for a partner who truly earns it. "I will be submissive for the right man," she said.

Doyin's ideal partner is someone who listens actively and adjusts his behavior based on her concerns, viewing these traits as key indicators of a strong relationship. "Do I feel listened to? When I complain, do you make changes? That’s what matters," she emphasized. Her comments have sparked widespread reactions, with supporters applauding her openness and critics questioning her standards.

Overall, Doyin's comments emphasize the importance of mutual respect, trust, and communication in relationships. By prioritizing these values, individuals can build stronger, healthier relationships that go beyond physical attraction.
