NIGHTCLUB ASSAULT: Prominent Realtor Maduba Okechi Christian Accused of Brutally Beating Two Women in Port Harcourt

Two young women have shared a harrowing account of being assaulted by a prominent Port Harcourt-based realtor, Maduba Okechi Christian, and his security details at a nightclub in Rivers State. The incident occurred on Thursday at Blacbox nightclub, where the women were celebrating a birthday party after paying N200,000 for table reservations.

According to the victims, the assault began when Maduba approached their table and asked to join them, but they declined. The situation escalated when one of the women started recording a video, and Maduba hit her phone, ordering her to stop. He allegedly smashed a bottle on one of the women's heads, leaving her bleeding profusely, while another woman had her tooth broken.

The victims, Thonia Okoye and Juliet Obasi, claim they were brutally beaten, with Okoye alleging she was dragged downstairs, stripped naked, and mercilessly beaten by Maduba and his friends. Obasi stated that she was left bleeding and had to receive emergency treatment at a nearby hospital.

The incident has sparked widespread outrage on social media, with many calling for Maduba's arrest and prosecution. The club's management has also faced criticism for alleged complacency, with some users demanding that they take responsibility for the incident.

The Rivers State Police Command has confirmed that both the club manager and Maduba have been invited for questioning. The command's spokesperson, SP Grace Iringe-Koko, assured that the victims would receive justice.

The owner of the club, Greatcool Ejekwu, popularly known as "Datfairboy," has condemned the incident, describing it as unfortunate and unacceptable. He has filed a petition with security agencies to report the incident.
